Some of you may seen a previous thread I posted a few weeks back, showing a couple picture's of the Borla exhaust system I'd just purchased for my 3rd gen Iroc-Z
-(For those who never saw the original thread and want to see a few picture's of the system, follow the link directly below)
http://www.theformulasource.com/forums/ind...showtopic=13710

I was asked to take a sound clip and I finally today,got the chance to take a short video.
It's almost impossible to find sound-clips for this exhaust on a 3rd gen, as not too many people have the exhaust, so I hope this video helps give you an idea of what the system sounds like.

A short description:

The car is an '88 L98 Iroc-Z with minor bolt-ons. (AS&M runners/ported Edelbrock base/plenum will be installed once the weather gets a bit warmer)

--------------

The exhaust consists of:

* SLP 1 3/4" stainless steel headers/ypipe
* Cat has been replaced by a 3" section of stainless steel tubing
* 3" Borla stainless steel exhaust.

Never mind the smoke you see in the video. It's not my car burning oil, it's just that the temperature outside now is just below zero. laugh.gif It's about a 2 minute 20 second clip of the car's idle and I threw in a few rev's, just for good measure gears.gif
I didn't want to spin the motor past 3000, 'cause my annoying neighbor's were outside and I didn't want to 'cause any hasle with them. Sorry.
