Took the 99 to the track for the first time last week. This thing hauls way better than the 93.....

first run i left the TCS on (STUPID ) hah, and ran a 13.8

next run was my best of the night at 13.4 @ 105. i was pretty happy with it considering my clutch is on its way out and my start could have been much better. But hey, i can only improve

took it back with a new clutch and 4.10's. 13.1 @ 107. i'm lookin for 12's when it gets cold in october. got my 60' down to 1.9 and i'm cuttin consistant trees under .600. i'm pretty satisfied.

Launch on the third yellow and your RT will drop even more

are cars run those kinds of times stock.......I ran 13.2@106 with my hawk stock....

Seems to be clear that this kid has something large stuckup his butt. Anyways 13.1 is damn good. I went to the track yesterday for the first time, but didnt get to race (stupid line) anyways Im hoping for a mid-low 14, so 13.1 in my book is excellent. Then again I have an LT1, intake,exhaust,rockers

wishihadanls6 - please be more considerate of the members here with any posts you make in the future.

You also have to remember that your 'Hawk makes more power to start with then his did, plus that the elevation of the track, temperature, humidity, etc have alot to do with the times/trap speeds that a car will run along with the mods on it as well as the experience of the driver.

LT1Formula350, don't let what wishihadanls6 say bother you. For where you live and the elevation you run at that's a pretty good time and speed. Congrats!

are is spelled our first off. And yea, low 13's is possible stock for a real good driver in prime conditions, but this was about an 80 degree day i think, and i'm by no means a professional, so i was happy with a 13.1 with a gear set. Plus, like sue said, your car has the new intake manifold. My bird is making atleast about 5-15 horse less than yours out of the box. I don't think the times are amazing by any means, but i dont see how you think i'd be "crushed"


oh and Jazsun, i used to have your exact car. I ran a 14.5 stock, so you should be able to hit that no problem with your mods.

Out of curiosity... how can you have a 2000 model year ZO6 when the first year they made them was in 2001? I'm thinking you have a hardtop 2000 with the 350 horse LS1, which is a nice ride by anyone's standards, but no Z06.
