im about to change my monsoon system to a kenwood, i was wondering will my buttons on my steering wheel (CD player and radio) still respond to the new system.

if so do i have to hook something special to something in order for this to take effect.

thanks

More then likely your steering wheel buttons won't work with your new headunit but all isn't lost. Go to this thread: http://www.theformulasource.com/forums/ind...?showtopic=9228 and go towards the bottom of it. There are several reply posts in it that tell you where to go and what you need to be able to get them to work with your new headunit.

Without looking at the above link, I will tell you that they do not work. My brother has a GTP with an Alpine system and his steering wheel controls dont work. But I havent looked at the above link.

in order to keep the steering wheel controls you need a PAC interface. CRUTCHFIELD sells it for $49.99.
