Ran a new best the other weekend.

13.27 @ 103.8 with a 1.92 60 ft. I just bought a Racing Edge 3800 lockup stall / tranny cooler / temp gauge, this past week, and will be puttin it in on wed. Can't wait to see how far I can get in the 12's with it biggrin.gif

Congrats on that time. Get those 60' times down and I bet even without the new parts you could get into the 12's.

Thanks smile.gif. I'm wonderin if my bfg's are gonna hold up, or if i'm gonna have to get slicks. We'll see hopefully on friday :-D

3800 stall on an LT1??? That is crazy high stall. I think it is way over stalled for your car!

LT1's when modified to the max like a 3200-3500 at the most!

3800 is way too high.

LS1's are different and highly modified could use a 3800 but again it would be a bit high.

Besides my above post I think your run is awesome!!! I just think a stall converter matched to your set up would give you better results and lower your short time (60')

You run slicks, drag radials, or street tires?

Runnin drag radials right now, will probably move to slicks. I got this 3800 used from my friend. Only has 750 miles on it and he gave me a really good deal. He had it on his 93 z28 , with a built motor / heads / cam running N/A. He only got to run it twice before he spun a bearing due to the wrong shift points that were way too high. He was cuttin really good 60 ft's. My future plans are heads / cam so I decided I would just go ahead and get it. I didn't want to have to change to a larger stall later. wink.gif

You wont have to go to a higher stall later! 3800 on ANY LT1 is alot of stall. I am basing this on your mod list. race only cars are another breed and can handle anything they are built for but 3800 is alot even on an LS1.
