finally made it to the track last night .made the first pass on motor with the hpp3 in ran a 13.1 at 106mph took it out and ran a 13.5 at 103mph 1/8 was 8.7 at 78 mph.i slowed down 4ths without the hpp3 witch is really hard to believe that the hpp3 does that much for my car but i guess it does. so i said its time for the juice.first pass it went 12.2 at 117 mph 1/8 was 8 .000 at 89 mph and every 60 i have ever made in this car has been 2.1 . i let the car cool for about an hour and made another pass left the line got to 3 grand hit the button car brakes loose i let off the button and craked the throtle and got it back straight went about 100 feet at full throtle and hit the button again and a little after the 1/8 it just snaped sideways and i do mean snaped . i barley missed the guard rail . thank god. i got it straight and just rolled to the line then went to nearest port-a-john and finished takeing the crap i had already started. i tried to make another pass later on and i just could not keep the tires glued to the track it would brake loose . several guys at the track said your second pass is always faster than the first if you dont purge it and something to do with the bottle pressure .ordering a set of slicks this week and will not spray again untill i do . there is no doubt in my mind that this car will run a flat 12 if i can spray in the 60foot and stay hooked to the track. and just kidding about the crap it was just a peek a boo. lol

I blew my clutch up the last time I ran the juice, since then I've sold it, and
will be building an NA setup now.

how bad did I blow the clutch, well NA I ran 1/8 8.7 86mph

with the juice(125shot) 9.2 @81mph last run 9.3 @ 83 mph

yeah they said it wasn't even spinning the tires.

when I took it out, you could poke your finger through the clutch.

good deal. My formy used to go sideways at WOT (from a stop) before I got my new GS-D3s. wink.gif

ph34r.gif My T/A goes sideways not matter the tire ph34r.gif
From a stop, from a slow roll, and in the right conditions, from a 40-50mph roll my car goes all kinds of crooked. It'll go either way, but me and the car prefer to steer left and sling the rear tires to the right. Slippy traction is more fun to me on a daily basis than "good" digging traction. ph34r.gif

I lost traction at about halftrack on an 1/8th mile strip one night against a 4.6L GT. It started raining during our run and when my car was pulling 2nd real good the back end stepped out left and aimed me at the wall at about 70ish mph. Let off, came straight, and looked in the rear view to see the lagging 'stang doing a similar dance. My coasting 10 something beat his 12 something time still smile.gif .

I'd like to get a similar feeling on the dry, but on good tires and track, not a chance for my car without MORE POWER. Imagine tire shake and feeling an 8,000hp nitro car spin 'em so you "pedal" all that power rolleyes.gif biggrin.gif ! Now that's some tire spin!

No doubt that the fastest times are spinless, so go get you tires ALLABOUTALS1 and get that thing in the 11s!!! Save for a stronger rear end too wink.gif

My car has good Dunlops on the rear right now that don't spin much without help, but help is easy to find. Good thing about the good tires is that they put off the best smoke!!!
