Just thought I'd share. smile.gif I was on my way home from work, and there's this brand spanking new M3 next to me...Just to be safe, I turned trac off and shifted from (D) to (3) and waited. Sure enough..light turns green and he accelerated hard, I match and then we both stomp the gas. I'm not gonna say it wasn't a close race, because it was, but I had enough gain to pass him and get over to the Left turn lane (my turn was at the next street) before the next light! Looks like the LS1 strikes again smile.gif

Man I'm so jealous of you guys, It seems you ls1 people are just killing left and right, with little to nothing done. My lt1 has some moderate mods and I just wish I could get the kills you guys get.... or maybe it is just that I dont have the chance. anyhow, nice kill!!!! smile.gif

It's just a preference thing. If the race is relatively short run, I don't want the car to shift to O/D before it hits redline in 3rd. This almost never happens, but you never know. Especially if I have to let up off the gas to pass someone or something during the race.
