Well I leave a friends house at around 2am in cleveland to head back to my home in medina.. around a 25 min trip all highway. Im cruisin in 6th gear in the middle lane (3 lane highway), radio off, admiring my strait pipes growling down the highway at 75mph.

I see a set of HID headlights screaming up in my mirror in the fast lane he pulls into the middle lane right behind me going at least 100mph and jams his brakes on leaving him just enough time to avoid hitting my birds a$$. He the procedes to ride my a$$.. and i mean 3 feet distance on the highway..

I was really not in the mood for racing (next ticket my license is gone for the 3rd time) but this guy just pissed me off so i let off the gas and de-accelerate to 60mph (speed limit)... STILL ON MY A$$.

Of course im gettin really irritated as we hit the long stretch of I-480 that everyone races on durring the weekends. I figure WTF so i get into the fast lane and slow down next to him... ITS 2 KIDS in a 05 AMG v8 2 Door Mercedes with temp tags!!

Kid yells to me "I COULD BUY 10 OF THOSE IF I TRADED THIS THING IN"... by now im getting pretty salty about these cocky ###### kids... so I said WANNA GO ON 3???

I shift into 3rd and count my hand out the window to 3. This kid takes off on 2 and get a car lenth jump on me i had him in my rear view by 100mph and I shut it down cause i figured my point was proven. I slow back down and he yells.. "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!! I CAN COMPLETELY OWN YOU ON TOP END!!" Sooo we lined up again at 65 and launched the same way at the same time though. At 120mph I could see about 3-4 car lenths stayed layed in till 145mph when he finally gave up about 7-8 car lenths back. I slowed back down to 70ish and he FLEW past and kept going till he was litterally outa sight.

The highway was DEAD with no cars anywhere in sight when this took place. I still dont know what that kid thought he had that was soooo fast on top end???

do u know what model amg it was? cause they musta been bd drivers or somthin those amg are pretty fast cars. good kill

wow. nice kill! Those AMGs are pretty fast.

Why? Because some cocky rich kid had parents that'll buy him an expensive car but lacked the skills he needed in stirring up races on the highway.
just my opinion....

even with a bad driver that thing shoulda beat u or at the very worst froma roll done better than that. and how bad of a driver can u be with an auto?

Only thing I can think of is that his "auto/manual shifter" didnt go into the gear he wanted manually due to over reving? Well "It doesnt matter if u win by an inch or a mile.. winning is winning..." hehehehe

I a similar sitution about 3 wks ago w/a jag.... late @nite, tired, coming home from Chicago. About 15 over spd lmt he FLYS by me, so I follow a ways back, soon he lets me catch up, my wife is already getting nervous and says; ur not gonna race 'm ru. Well... only if he eggs me on sommore, he did @ 80mph I dropped MR. WS6 to 3rd and nailed it, by 105 he was reading the badge on my bumper cover, couple more times and he figrd it out.-it was ! of those "R" S-Types.

I would like to find more opportunities to do this under better circumstances.

Dumb cocky kids...but those AMG SL's are pretty fast!!! Those things could run circles around my car and then leave it in the dust. The kids probably didnt' know how to drive that thing...that's most likely why you took him. But nice kill, i love shutting up the "tough" kids with their mommies cars! haha!

WoW thats crazy and so close to me i live in canton ive been in medina a couple times but not in my formy. Doesnt really matter how you got him because now his buddy prolly went around and told all his friends that his $100,000 got beat by some firebird always good lol great kill thow ive had a couple like that but mine were usually with old school muscle cars thinking my formy was a 5.0 or somethin lol.

Man you guys up north have all the fun. Not a lot of this goes on in the outskirts of Columbus at all...
