just came back from the track and with my mods in my sig i went 13.6@ 106 with a 2.3 60' on a stock torque converter i can't wait to see what me 3:73's and 3200 rpm vigilante converter will make this thing do! i will prolly need slicks when i do that too. lol

correct and thats witha stock 1800 rpm stall converter i need the slicks for the 1 - 2 shift i can't break them loose off the line it bogs too much that 2.3 60' time is because it bogs and i am still running the stock 3:23 rear i am amazed and so was everyone else that was there my buddy rode with me for that run he has a 2000 stang gt 5 speed and all he said was holy crap are we moving with a smile from ear to ear i think he is going to crossover now. hehehe

I think a 3200 stall might be a bit high but a 2800-3000 would be awesome with your mods. a 3200 will be ok but it is better matched to an LS1's torque curve, and power level.

a 3200 would work perfect for this motor than i wish i could post my dyno runs the torque curve and hp almost mirror an ls1 car just a bit higher than an ls1. hehehe

The reason i say this is that i had a 2800-3000 stall in there before and it was not enough the car still bogged not nearly as bad as it does now but i still could not break the street tires loose on the drag strip launching i was considering going to 4:10 rear with a 3000 stall converter as i am turning this motor all the way to 7000 rpm before i shift (it never stops pulling i wish i could rev it higher but the computer won't run right above 7000 there is no data for it)

well you know your set up so go for it man. My car making in the 450HP area launches HARD with a 3000 stall.
But that is just me

doug i am not trying to say you are wrong and i hope that you do not take offense to what i have said i do not mean it i am just trying to give everyone as much input as i can give so i can get some in return i am having a tough time making this decision if i go with the 4:10's i can run the 3000 but if i stay with the 3:23's or even 3:73's i feel i might have to go higher than 3000 the converter i had in there before was a generic 2800rpm stall they claimed it would flash to 3000 but never said behind what and i vould not get an answer out of them so for all i know it coulda stalled at 2300 or even lower i just wish i had defininate answers.

Do the gear swap first then the TQ if you still need it
If your gonna street drive it 3.73's for an automatic would be more reasonable
jut my humble opinion
