ok so i was on my way to work and my radio shut off and turned back on a couple times. i thought it was because of a bumpy road, but it did it when i was a stop light too. usually when i shut off my car the radio would stay on until i open the door. could the Retained Accesorry Power module be going out? does anyone know the part number? this is a 97 firebird formula btw. please help, i hate when something is wrong with the firebird.

What I would do is check for any lose wires on the back of the radio and with the fuse box. Since it started when you were driving down the bumpy road something might have worked it's way lose and isn't making good contact.
