I was just surfing the net and realized that you can come across the headlight conversions for non flip up lights for the last gen firebirds. I have a 98 v8 formula and I want to do the conversion.Can anybody tell me where to get then or order them from. Any Info I would appreciate it. Thanks

Actually, I think those look pretty clean...beats the heck out of some of the hack-conversions you used to see on the 3rd gens, not to mention earlier vettes. I wonder if they meant 1998-2002 instead of 1997-2002 like on the website? I haven't seen any kits for the 93-97 birds.

I think the are ugly.

They arent too bad, but for $1000, i'd much rather make my car a lot faster... you can do a lot for $1k... and my car looks REALLY mean at night, and with the fog lights on, it looks the batmobile!

thats looks sweet, i really like it but then again for a grand thats a little much, but if it was say 4-500 at the max and i had a 4th gen ls1 car, i would have already done it!!!

ya...i dont' want to say they are "ugly" but they definitely don't seem right in a way. I think the headlights should be protruding a bit, as opposed to sunk in like with this setup. Notice how the C6 Vette's lights (VS C5 style) aren't just C5 shape, but clear like the NSX or something, they protrude a bit, giving them some character.

Thanks a lot for the link and your input I think you are all kinda correct. they are ok lights but I think I like the flip up ones better as they give my formula a meaner and more aggressive look. and 1 GRand??!! lol..that kinda sealed the deal. I think it would look ok with black.but..other then that..im sticking with my pop ups. thx again!

octane motorsports makes a kit. idk how much like the before mentioned kit is. i don't really like the kits they have made but i don't like flip up lights too well. i think that a projector kit or halo kit might look a little better. anyone heard about any other kits?
