just bought a brand new 4l60e from factory and picked up a 2400 stall torque converter to accompany it...what would b the best technique for me to get the most power out of a launch with out spinning all day?

i have never really driven with an aftermarket converter b4..not even with my third gen it feels kind of arkward...i also have alot of time to gain information on it because this is a new tranny and i must break it in for a few hundred miles first...is is best to powerbreak to around 2500 rpm and let loose or wat? any input greatly appreciated smile.gif

If it is a 2400 then the tire will start to spin before 2500. More like 1600-1800.

while im driving at cruising speed...say like 40 50 or 60mph and decide to hit the gas a lil more then slightly but not reaching say 1800rpm then tranny slips until i reach that high....this is normal with a stall converter correct? thanks in advance wink.gif
