Hey guys and gals , last night was my third time to the track and i ran a 13.8 with a 60 ft of 1.90 Im pretty happy with that considering the first time i went my best was 14.9 and a 60 ft of 2.74 . Just thought i would share .... GO 3rd Gens GO ! biggrin.gif

Thats great! Unfortunatly, now you'll want more. Now you'll be thinking of ways to shave another tenth here or a tenth there. Speed is addictive and never ends. Aint it fun!

Thanks ! Ya know Ty its funny you say that cause when i got the engine done my goal was to sqeek into the 13's and it was actually more work then i thought, jetting , metering rods, did gears AGAIN and lots of other tweaking and about 1/2 hr after i ran the 13.8 i was thinking of how i could get into the mid to low 13,s ... it doesnt stop does it ? Its a great sport and more fun than i imagined ... im hooked . Thanks gain Tyler and Sue .

Got a new time this year with the new intake and cutout, im rather stoked about it too . 13.34@102.93MPH 1.74 60 ft . I have a few more plans for the car (carb and new slicks for starts) in hopes to squeek into the 12's this year.
Tyler
Thats a killer 60' time. I'd be in the 12's if I could do that.

I actually thought i read the time slip wrong when i seen that. The car has wicked bottom end but it does lack at 5800-6000 rpms .. im working on it thou. I didnt spin the slicks off the line but i did when it left the compound , i bought new hoosiers so i think 12's are very obtainable. cool.gif
