I did a lookup and could not find anything on MTI's airlid. Specifically, I was wondering if anyone had the transparent one. What are your thoughts on it?
On the website it lists a silicone boot to connect to MAF, is this necessary?

I personally do nto have an airlid on my cars, but it would be better than stock. As for the silicone boot, yes, it is suggested to connect better. Plus it is smooth where the stock boot is corrigated. Less restriction in air flow.
