A little behind here with this one. In February I ran a 98 or 99 mustang gt. We went from a roll on a cold morning so I was skeptical I would hook due too it being too cold for my tires. Surprisingly I was able to hook and burn him 3 car lengths before I had to let out for traffic. We started from a hard left from a light. He punched and I did not want to let that happen so I hit it. I got up next to him in 2nd, still feathering the throttle. I shift into third, look over and wave, then punch it. I launched a full car length from him and pull from there. We stopped and talked afterwards. He was one of the most level headed mustang drivers I have ever spoken to. He had the 4.6 with intake and custom exhaust work done and 3.73's. Not a bad run.

So far 1-0

It's not the car that sometimes sucks but the drivers. I like a Mustang fine and if I race one & he wins thats cool as long as the driver is nice about it.

Fortunatly,that's only happened once gears.gif

Most mustang drivers I have ran usually have bad attitudes. I was actually surprised this time. I have spoken to him since and he now has 4.11s in, so I may lose the next one.
