hey everybody, dont know if anyone remembers me havent been logged in on a while browse every once in a while just dont have time. but will be having more time here shortly. any way, edelbrock has a new intake for the lt1 its a airgap. looks exactly the same as the lt1 but airgap, dont know if there is a gain in cfm or port design diffrence as the stocker, has any one seen one at the track or seen dynos on it?

Edlebrock has not yet released it.
They were supposed to release it early this year, that didnt happen. Then they said April, that didnt happen. Now they're saying summer 2006, that will most likely not happen.
I think Edelbrock is not going to do well with this intake. They have tried to tap into the LT1 market a few years ago with their heads, but they were not performing to justify the price. This is somewhat maybe a smart move since the discontinuation of the LT4 intake, but still.

yeah i know there heads aint worht the price. ive installed 2 sets and on the test drives it didnt feel the way it feels when we install edelbrock heads on a mustang for example. plus iv seen dynos, no good. now there shorty headers are a difrent story i have them on my 94, didnt need to disassemble half the engine they slip right in and plug access is stupidly easy. almost makes me change plugs on it for the easy of it now. so there heads are a no,no but there headers a yes now wondering on the intake if it gets released.
