I was working on my radio about a week ago and had the seat all the way back, well now it won't move forward and I can't reach the pedels!! I took out the seat inspected the wires and cannon plug going to the seat and thay looked fine, the fuse was really hot and burnt my fingers when I touched it, but i switched fuses didn't help, i checked the back of the fuse box and everything looks good there. I'm not really good with electrical stuff so I'm going to need some help with this one. Anyone know what to do to fix this?

Is the fuse that was in it correctly sized? If somebody replaced the correct size fuse (say 10 amp) with a higher rated one (say 30 amp) to "fix" a problem (burning up fuses), something that the fuse was meant to protect may be shot. It seems abnormal that it would be hot to the touch.

The seat might be out of track, and the motor not engaging... get a ohm-meter and check the wires to make sure u have current. If so, push on the chair to force it forward as u engage the "foreward" movement on the control. hopefully that will put it back on track.

well I checked everything couldn't find anything wrong, put it all together and now it works maybe it was just off the tracks. Thanks for the help.
