my car 350 tpi has many mods just look below, my prob is that my car stalls and has a really rough idle once started from a cold start even in warm weather, rpms jump and i have to give the car gas to stop it from stalling...now i know it can be the MAF, throddle position switch, cold start injector, ive upgraded the chip to motivation strip chip over a year ago but its only started just doing this for a couple months, every once in a while i throw a code and the code is the MAF burnoff. im eventually goin with a 383 and im prob gona replace the MAF(which has been descreened) with a grannelli high flow one and if thats the prob im just gona replace it now, they say 10-15 rwhp from the swap bc it flows 45% more air...should i expect gains like that? and is it really worth the 300$ bc it is adjustable? and wat could be my problem?

I would try some contact cleaner, you can get it at Radio Shack or anything like that, and spray the wires in the MAF. Make sure you do not touch the wires or you could break them.

I have a Granatelli MAF in my car and I am not sure if it gave me any gains or not since I did all of my intake upgrades at one time. I do like the plastic ends as opposed the metal ones on the stock MAF. Some people say you will gain, others will not. Some will say you can get a lot of power out of your stock one or a ported one without any worries. It all comes down to what you want to do.

Are the gains worth the money? No, I would not expect much more over what you are getting now.

That is my $.02
