Well, today when I was signalling right and I realized I had to go strait instead I put put back my blinker and it broke. Something happened inside there and the blinker stick was just hanging, I can stuff it back in and kinda get it to work but it is very difficult. There seems to be a seperate plastic peice that goes over the blinker consul and the tilt but I can't figure out how to get it off. I'm pretty sure it was just a pin that came loose or broke, its getting really annoying though because I'm turning into one of those people I hate so much who don't signal. I'm finding myself taking corners really tight so as not to anger the driver behind me, please help!

I have some good news and some really bad news.

The good news is the plastic cap behind the blinker does come off no problem but your blinker arm/lever is part of the column wiring harness and the entire steering column needs to come out.

Mine broke just llike yours did and I pulled off the capo and found that the plastic housing that holds the arm/lever in place was broken so a clip had fallen out. The clip couldn't be re-intalled because the plastic housing was broken.

It ended up costing me almost $600. I think it was $560.00 or something.

Wait, we have blinker fluid? Where do we fill that up? Is it right next to the CD changer fluid or is it next to the carberadiator intake?

I'm still dealing with the problem, I can signal now that I monkey'd around with it so everything is functional. It's just annoying, my brother's coming down this weekend to take a look at it, he's a mechanic. Thanks for your help guys.
