hey everyone,

I recently bought a 99 Formula and am very, VERY upset at the audio work that was done to the car. whoever owned it before me, took the factory system out and replaced ONLY 2 of the missing speakers, with West Coast Custom spekers at that! He also tore out the factory head unit and replaced it with a 40 dollar pioneer peice of junk. I assume he did the wiring himself as my head unit loses ALL power when the car is shut off. that means, no clock, and no cd "bookmarking". so, having said that, what is my first step to fixing all this? I know I need new speakers and I'm gettting some Infinitys or some Alpines but what about the wiring and ######. I looked behind the headunit, which conveinently slides in and out because its not secured in there, and alot of wires are disconnected. Also, my antenna doesn't go up when I turn it to radio, so its all cd's for me. ANY advice would be helpful. Thanks in advance

Here's something to get you started:

It's got the speaker sizes, etc, some of the wiring, where some of the different parts of the Monsoon system are located, etc. You'll just have to start at the top and read as you go down to find what you need.

I'll see if I can find a full wiring diagram for you of the Monsoon system.

how sad. Who knows what that joker did... if you don't have some skill, you might want to just hire someone to make sense out of it.
