Hey guys, i have a 93 formula auto and i'm going to the track next weekend and i was wondering what u guys think i should run. I ran a best of 14.4 at 97mph last year when i was completely stock right down to the air filter. Now i have a k&n cold air intake, flowmaster exhaust, no cats, and a shift kit, and i'm getting new tires so traction should be better. What do u guys think i will run?

How bad was traction last time? Might be able to pull off a couple 14.0's.

Traction was pretty bad last year i spun pretty hard off the line, my 60 foot times were around 2.2-2.4. I just ordered some kelly springfield tires so they should hook a little better, right now my tires are so bald if i half throttle it they spin no problem. Id be happy if i could hit 14 flat, i'm going to the track may 5th so i'll let u guys know how i run.

I bet mid-high 13's. A good hook, depending on these tires, will get low 13's. That is my guess.

The first 5 runs at the track I could not break into the 13's... I was cutting 2.2's and 2.4's for 60's. but that was because there was a ton of wheel spin. I have never raced it stock with drag radials, but now with all the mods, the drag radials DO help!!! Get some drag radials and go again...

I'm betting a 13.75 @ 102 mph.
