So the Formula I just bought has el cheapo Edelbrock steel headers, which have crapped the bed. Can someone recommend a more durable alternative that will mate up in the same way as the Edelbrock cheapies, so I don't have to change even more exhaust components? Thanks in advance.

Really it'll all depend on what the outlet size on the Edelbrocks are on whether you'll have to do any other exhaust work to get them to mate up correctly to anything else.
But what in particular are you looking to change out - the Edelbrocks or the exhaust since you aren't real clear in your post?

Sorry- been drinking. I need to replace the headers themselves.

It's ok, we've all been there before. lol
As for what type of headers it'll all depend on how much you want to spend and if you want to stick with emissions legal ones or go with an off road y-pipe which is catless.
I, myself, have Pacesetter long tubes and an off road y-pipe (ORY) but I've heard good things about the Hooker headers for our cars. However I'm not sure of the outlet size of those.

Thanks. I might have to look under there and find out exactly what is there as far as headers and cat back, etc. The shop told me it's all aftermarket.
