Well today i went ahead and did some research on how to take off the aftermarket "Ram Air" decal off my hood before i started so i wouldn't leave any scratches. After doing some research, i learned that using a hairdryer on the decal while peeling it off with your fingernail works like a charm. The heat softens the glue and allows the decals to simply peel off. I'm not sure how many people know this trick, but if you need to remove a decal you should try this technique wink.gif

Make sure you hit it with some sort of adhesive remover and/or a clay bar. Then wax the area really well. Might help make the instant bright spot a little less noticeable.

Definitely grab up some Goo-gone or similar- make things really simple. If you're removing a badge, like the ones that say GTA or whatever else, use a piece of dental floss behind it, then get the leftover glue off with the goo-gone. In lieu of a hairdryer and a long extension cord (not everyone has outside outlets or access to a garage), park the car with the sun beating on the sticker you want to remove for 10 minutes or so. But remember that the paint/glue/emblem/sticker is gonna be HOT and you'll likely get a couple of nasty blisters. Suck it up and be a man about it though wink.gif
