My check engine light for the last couple of days has come on and off and back on, so I went to AutoZone to get it scaned, I don't remember to code itself but the guy at AutoZone says its a EGR valve code. Is this something I need to be concerned about now? Do I need to replace it? Could it be some trash in it? What do you guys think I should do or check, I'm not familiar with this area of the car or this problem. Thanks

You might notice a little rough idle, but for the most part it's just pollution BS. It does a molectular transformation to exhaust gasses by passing them back through the comustion chamber. Good luck passing emmissions if you have them there though. And of course it triggers the SES light. Many people do away with it all together and have the SES light tuned out where emissions are not an issue.
