Im thinking of replacing my carb. My engine is a 77 400 bored .30 over. I already have a edelbrock performer intake, Should i go with the 600cfm carb used on up to 400 cu in engineor could i use the 750 cfm carb that can be used on engines 402 and bigger? considering my engine is bored .30 over .

A 750 cfm with vacuum secondaries would be my choice especially if the 400 has mods.

I agree 400's like rpm so the 750 would be the best choice.
That's what I had on my 400
