I have a 97 formula firebird. I am building toward a supercharger charger kit instead of a turbo. Mainly because my car has a lot of miles. Before i buy the kit i was wondering if what kind of headers should with cat back exhaust should i buy. Some of them are priced really high and i don't if the they are worth the cost. I have heard good things about the pacemaker on the forums, but as far as headers go i know they are more generic. As far as catbacks go I LOVE the borla catback. Any know were i can get some for cheap?

Actually which headers are best depends on who you talk to and how much you want to spend. I've never used them but I've heard Kooks (sp?) are the top of the line.
Myself, I've got Pacesetter armor coated Long tubes and ORY and so far I like them and haven't had any problems with them. As for the catback, I've got Magnaflow catbacks on both my 97 and 99. The Magnaflow along the with Pacesetters sound great and flow great too.
But like I said what the best ones are really depends on who you talk to and what you're willing to spend.

Im rocking the Jet Hot Long Tubes on mine right now... there basically a Hooker design header with the Jet Hot Coating on them. Fitment is great no problems so far and plug changes are a breeze compared to stock. Pacesetters are the cheapest half decent header for the money. Kooks as said above are sexy and flow great but pricing is on the highside. Depends how much money you want to put out there and your goals.

JBA's.expensive, but worth it!!!
Get the y-pipe with it. The random tech cat is a decent cat convert for behind the JBA's..... The JBA's coating needs to be redone every 30k-40k miles even though they are ceramic coated-go figure.
