Probably. It appears to be an attempt to make the 98 & up ram air seal tight like the 93-97 style. I'm sure they make more power, but I'm also sure they create more drag so maybe the benefits are not much in real world... only shows on dyno. Get it and try, at $90 bucks, not like you've got to break the bank to try.

Heck I think it if it were painted the car color it would look good too...

Never have understood why GM has the incoming air go thru all those "loop de loops" before it goes into the airbox.

My understanding is it is to remove the water.
