Does anyone know if a 3rd gen front and/or rear sway bar will fit a 4th gen? By that I mean have you done this yourself or seen it done? I need to know for sure.

The rear sway bars are interchangeable on the 3rd and 4th Gens, because the rear suspenions are dimensionally identical (except for the width of the rear axle assembly). The fronts are not, because the front suspensions are completely different, with different pickup points on the A-arms for the end links, and on the chassis for the bushing brackets.

Go to a site like Spohn Performance... the 3rd and 4th Gen rear bars have the same part #'s. The fronts do not.
