The stock steering wheel on my '94 formula is rather.. appalling. It hasnt been treated well by its previous owners. It has radio controls.. which I don't really care for (not that I have a radio) and just the 'rim' is kinda "noodlely".

I'd like to get a thicker wheel.. Something simple, that looks and feels nice. I've looked into past related posts, but nothing really guided me on what I should be looking for and where I can find it. I'm not sure on the rules for what will work and what won't. Not looking for anything fancy or expensive, Just better!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The best thing I can suggest is to get another stock one from a newer model year. The newer ones seem to be thicker then the older model ones for some reason. You might even be able to find one that's leather wrapped without the radio controls on it. Just remember to make sure that no matter which one you end up getting that the air bag is in the center and that you'll have to be able to work that in with any new one.
