So i got my buddy to put a new clutch in for me. I'm trying to decide between a stocker and the LS6. I want the ls6 but i don't want to make it any more difficult on my friend putting it in than it has to be. Is the ls6 one really a DIRECT replacement, or is there some extra steps/ modifications that are needed? Does anyone know?

Don't waste your time on the LS6 Clutch it was standard on all `01-02 F-bodies and is not much better then the regular `97-00 LS1 Clutch.
The Hot ticket right now is the LS7/LS2 Clutch combo, It's the LS7 disc and pressure plate with and LS2 Flywheel (required). It will hold over 500 HP but it requires the later updated Hydraulics..
My Original clutch has lasted me for 10yrs and 121K miles of semi abusive driving and this will be my next clutch.
