I got a friend who owns a 86 GTA. She got it painted a year or 2 ago and they left out some of the screens and now they cant find them. Its the ones that go on the sides of the hood, not the ones on the front of the hood. Anyone know where I can find some of these for her? I checked Ebay, Hawks, Fbody Motor Sports, etc, with no luck so far.. any help would be appriciated.

Have you tried places like Year One, Classic Industries, etc? I'm just asking since it's an "older" car those places might have it more readily then places that handle more of the newer parts. Also have you tried GMPartsDirect? I know you can usually find hard to find items there.

yup tried year one and GM Parts Direct I would need the part #. I tried to use their catalog but came up null. I'll give Classic Ind. a try and see how that goes.

ok tried Classic Ind. and that didnt work either.. made a pic of what shes needing.. her car isnt here so I cant take a pic of it so I just found a hood and drew on it to give a basic idea. the green arrows represents whats needed. She has the Air Extractors.. she just needs the screen that goes behind them.

So does ANYONE have an idea... Ive been lookin for 3 days with no luck.

Dave, one of those should be what you need. The first one is rear extractors, the second one is the screen.
