i got a used set off ebay for around 150.00. i got them put in and drivers side is darker than the passenger. is this normal or do they need cleaning or what? its not a huge deal to me but at night the passenger lights are brighter than the drivers and thats all that gets to me really

Make sure you have the correct bulbs and that they match on both sides. That happend to me once. Everybody kept telling me about it too!! Drove me crazy until I replaced the mismatched bulb.

Besides the bulbs it could also be that the silver reflective material on the inside of the driver side taillight has started to break down. It's a pretty common problem, especially if any water has gotten inside of it.

yea i got the right bulbs in, it isnt the actually brightness of the lights but the actual taillights.and im guessing sue is right, the reflective stuff inside is breaking down, its especially noticeable on the reverse light part of the light
