help.gif AHHHHH i can't decide. banghead.gif

I also apoligize for yet another exhaust question.

OK i really like the low loud growl that V8s have and want that when i do the exhaust. And dont have the money for a Borla or Corsa.

I first wanted the loudmouth then heard a cutout then wanted that but then started thinkin. The cutout is awesome but i dont want to have to deal with the possiblity of the motor dying in the rain or winter if moisture gets in the motor and frys it. So i was thinkin straight pipes. The cutout is meant to bypass the muffler and straight pipes does the same thing but no electic motor.

With straight pipes i would have at the moment stock headers and cats just no muffler. (I will eventually get headers and high flow cats just not anytime soon.) Is it really really loud all the time. Or is it kinda quiet when your just cruisin around and at idle.

Thanks for any help you give me.

One thing, if you get an electric cut-out, make sure that you put a good coating of grease around the outside of it where the gears and motor for it are. That will help keep out any moisture from those two areas and help keep any problems with those two things down.

Thanks i will do that.
