I have a 95 T/A with the LT-1 and 6-speed. When I go take off from a stoplight or whatever it may be.... A wierd grinding noise can be heard, but only until about 1,100 rpm, then it just simply goes away. Everything shifts smoothly and I have no problem putting it in gear. I just had a tranny flush today, and the car only has 77,300 miles. Any suggestions?

It's probably the clutch. Mine did that and I put in a fresh friction disc and it stopped.

That does make sense. It does need a new clutch.
