I was over at my dad's house the other day, right after a wax job on my car, and he keeps on finding little spots of wax left over (especially in the little cracks and crevasses in the spoiler, moulding, and "formula" badges.) He has an '02 WS6 that is the same color as my formula, so he is used to this problem as well. He goes over to the cabinet in his garage and pulls out an old toothbrush. Works GREAT. Stiff enough to remove the wax no problem, but no where close to being stiff enough to harm the finish. Just a little tip that might help somebody out (I know it saved me some time!)

Gotta love the old school F-Body freaks! biggrin.gif

Toothbrushes and Q tips can't leave home without them.

Yup, old toothbrushes (especially if they're the soft ones so the paint doesn't get scratched) and Q-tips work wonders on our cars.

Two more things that I've found over the years that help with our cars are the big long sticked Q-tips like the doctors use to swab your throat, you can get them at medical supply stores. They're great for cleaning inside of things like the air vents inside the car and for those small hard to reach places under the hood. Another thing that helps to remove excess wax is what's known as an "orange stick". They're meant to be used to push back the nail cuticle but since they've got a wedge shape on one end and a point on the other they're great for getting in those hard to reach crevices that a toothbrush or Q-tip can't get into.

you can also sneek some from the Dr when they have you waiting what seems like forever in the room!

Don't forget toothpicks- they work great on areas other things won't fit and are also soft enough not to harm the paint.
