First off me and my friends are all into cars. In our group we have a Deuce, an 01 GT, a 94-97 V6 Pony, and 3 Eclipses, 2 of them are the 94-97 models a GS and a GST while the other one is like a 00-05 RS, and then ME.

Well, the long awaited showdown finally happened. At about 9:15ish PST frm a 35 mph or so roll a horn honked 3 times and it was off. The 01 GT pulled bout a quater of a fender until Trish,(which is what I named my baby), caught traction and was neck and neck. Both cars pulling back and forth while a couple of our buddies were trying to keep up behind us in the Deuce but all what they saw were shrinking of taillights. The 01 Gt with 295 rear, BBK intake and pulleys and Trish with BBK headers and DynoMax exhaust. I ended up pulling ahead at the end where the onramp turns to merge onto the freeway before we had to slow down to make it into traffic. Im sorry guys but when I race I don't look at my RPM's or MPH. Eye's are just focused straight ahead. But my buddy said we were going atleast 100-115. Or atleast I made it to 115. HAHA!!!

Nope. None at all. Well maybe, "Well you do have full exhaust." But that was it.

Nice kill...Stangs are my favorite cars to beat on because of the whole rivalry thing. All the stangs who went up against me have all thought they had a chance, unfortunately they have no idea how much quicker our cars are from theirs

Nice, though I think frm a dig he would take me. He has 295 in the back compare to my 275 and Im pushing out more power. But that has yet to be determined.

You mean he has 295rwhp or 295 tires in the back? Because i can tell you that just because he has bigger tires means nothing. Your car has more power and a good amount of bottom end having the LT1. You'll beat the 01 GT from a dig too.

Haha, raced a kid in a 96 mustang GT last night from a dead stop in what would have been about 1/4 mile ut in the country...we both spun our tires thru 1st but i still managed to pull away from him in 1st, i hit 2nd and i was gone...not even close...i thought his was a stick so i asked if he got a bad start and he said "yeah pretty much"...so we lined them up again...smoked him again...haha...then when we stopped he said "I just left it in drive, i should have put it down into 1 and shifted it manually" meaning it was an auto...i said "oh...mine worked just fine in drive..." he didnt have much to say after that...i couldnt help but say it either, i got his number from my brother and just sent him a text that said "ponies can run, but birds can fly. Nice race bud."(props to whoever said that first, i stole your saying.) He didnt like that too much...but all in all, just another 20 minute adventure that makes me love my car....

Haha sounds like murrddaa. haha. Yeah those 96 and related year GT's are slow as about as quick as a hungover turtle. The funniest part is that the drivers think they are fast just because it has a V8...haha

yea those GT's are dog slow man...even if he had a blower i bet id still give him a run for his money...this one had custom paint, some huge exhaust, silver stripes down the side, a cobra hood and some angel eye headlights...it looked kinda cool but it wasn't no fbody contender...thats for sure...haha...when will they learn? Cobras on the other hand are pretty quick...i have yet to line up with one but i kno id be close...

True true guys. Dont get me wrong. I love Mustangs. Esp. Saleens and Cobras. But those are another story. But back to the 95 GT. I have/had the 97 V6 3.1 ltr Grand Am SE. That thing took out the GT's of that gen. and the newer model V6's. Victory will always be ours.
