well I was leavin my buddy's place at about 1:30 in the morning and I was headed down mainstreet...I live in a town of 11,000 people so on a monday night at 1:30 it's DEAD...anyway, I saw a civic with some euro tail lights up ahead...he pulled into the mcdonalds parking lot so I thought, "what the heck?" I pulled in behind him and when he parked I rolled past him and gave it a little gas, he did the same...I turned around and went and parked next to him and asked if he wanted to race...he told me all about his japanese crate engine and i just knodded and said "uh huh" a lot...so we went out onto the highway north of town thats a really popular drag spot...we lined them up and his buddy said "Ill call it! and said ONE, TWO," and then they took off...he got quite a jump on me seeing as i misunderstood, but, it didnt matter...I hit second and caught up to him and passed him, i hit third and was GONE...they where amazed when we stopped to talk because my car was an automatic...they could not believe it...i told them it was nearly bone stock with the exception of bolt ons and they didnt know what to say...haha, another great win for the american muscle! But he also informed me his "wasnt built for draging..." and "he gets better gas mileage"...which is fine for me because I didnt buy my car for fuel economy...I bought it to go fast! haha...

Nice kill and it just goes to show that no matter what they drive ricers always have an excuse on why they lost.

haha nice murder. It cracks me up how surprised they are when we dust them. I think a lot of them are brainwashed into thinking that our cars are just big slow boats. Wrong!!!

Yet another example of the fact that there's no REPLACEMENT for DISPLACEMENT!

Haha really? They try me all the time...it cracks me up to think about how many of these silly 4banger owners think they stand a chance? What boggles me is this: When they come up to me and want to run me, do they expect that they are going to get destroyed? If so...why do they do it? It can't be that, they must think they stand a chance because they added a CAI and fartcan exhaust...

I love the fart cans!!!!! they are so cute thinkin cuz they make a lot of noise they go fast

I think I figured out the fat can exhaust. Inside the car it does not sound as horrible as it does to those of us near by. So in theory, they are moving faster than the speed of sound since they can not hear it all. Therefore, nothing else on the road can handle the shear power of a 1.8L 4 banger with a 800 lb boost turbo with a coffee can exhaust system.
Makes sense..... then I woke up in a cold sweat and laughed myself back to sleep.

Since I own a 2006 Civic EX Coupe, I can assure you it does get better gas mileage. Who the heck cares!!??

Those ricers never learn.
A crate engine? All that means is that he bought somebody's used engine from Japan--there's big bucks in that junk. And, oh by the way, the Japanese only engines aren't supported by the USA parts network. Just wait till he needs a part for that high tech Tinker Toy.

You know when I get worried though? I wet myself at the line when I see that whale tail they use to help keep their front wheel 180hp monster's rear wheels on the ground and in good traction. I actually lose the jump sometimes cuz Im laughing at how ridiculous they look. But I more than make up for it when I blow by them and my cutout rattles their custom interiors apart. oh I love ricers.....
