Right now Im doing something to my car every few weeks(every pay check)...and before winter Id like to do the following...

Ive got a bit of a hesitation problem thats getting gradually worse, so im fixing that first...(I got plugs and wires, and if that doesnt fix it Ill try distributor, fuel pump/fuel regulators ect...we'll see what happens when I put them in... smile.gif

after that...

1. Brakes...Im gettin decent brake pads(ones that make less dust, they make my rims look like crap!) from my local auto parts store and some slotted(not drilled) rotors from summit...Im just doing the front so all in all that will be around $150...

2. Aluminum Drive shaft $150 used from a newer fbody off ebay...

3. Subframe connectors...Ive done a little shopping, is there really any "good" or "bad" ones? Id like to get bolt on ones...so id like to spend $200 or a little more or less...I like the look of the hotchkin's ones...

3. 3.73 Gears...spruce up the "giddy up" a bit smile.gif planning on spending $300-$400 on the parts and install...

4. Drag Radials...Either NItto 555's, or BF Goodriches in 315/35/17...( I like the way the Nitto's look and you dont see them very often) around $350-$400 for a pair of rear tires

5. Springs and Shocks...I really havent made any decisions here...I'd like to lower it a bit, but not too much (1.5 inches or less)...Id like to obviously improve performance too...Id like to keep it relatively cheap, but I dont want to waste money either...Im basically loking for something "decent", any suggestions?

Amongst thes list of things I'll probably tint my windows, put on a few decals(and I mean a few!) and do a new intake elbow, 160 thermostat and little things like that...my goal is to set it all up to be ready for cylinder heads, cam/valve train, and intake next year...I dont want to be breaking stuff with that much more power! I'd like to run with all my buddy's 600cc Crotch rockets (Around mid 11's to low 12's) by this time next year!

any input/thoughts/suggestions/information would be awesome!

thanks guys!

First thing is get that thing running perfect.

And now for a couple of tips
Springs and Shocks will totally change the car so you get what you pay for
I did Strano Springs/Swaybars and Koni 4/4's. and it totally transformed the car. As basic replacements withot any extra modifications they are probably the best out there, but their not cheap.
If your going with 315's you must have at least a 10.5" wide wheel, they will fit on 9's but it is unsafe.
For subframes look into UMI 3 point's, they have great quality stuff.

Ive got 315 35 17s on right now and theres no problems...unless i have a car full of stuff with 3 passengers and a full tank of gas and i hit a decent bump at 55+...for the most part anyway...no real issue...im getting that little problem worked out with spacers my buddy's dad is machining me...
