i just had the clutch slave and master cylinder replaced and everything but my 2nd gear is back to normal. goes in smooth at low rpms but grinds hard at high rpm. need new tranny??

Did this problem just come up after the repairs were made? Stock shifter?

it was not doin it before i had them replaced. i have a fidanza short shifter. could it be the positioning of the shifter?

Make extra sure the system is bled well. Most aftermarket shifters can be adjusted for throw travel. Dont adjust it to far however,just enough to get smooth engagment. Another possibility is a synchronizer going bad but I'd check the other stuff first.

my guess would b a synchronizer...
