I'd like to take a chance to introduce myself. About 3 weeks ago I sent a Nissan in for a safety check but they wanted far to much for it, so I searched on the internet for local cars and got carried away looking at vehicles I could only dream of owning such as Camaro's, Firebirds, some Caddaliac's, etc. Soon I came across a '91 Firebird Formula for $900 (broken cross-member) but was too late. This only made me determined to find another Firebird and within the week I found an 87' Firebird 5L V8 305 that was still available. After having a good look at it, I bought it for a good price and took it home. It had some idling issues but new plugs, wires and a carb adjustment has it purring like a lion. It will be getting a new paint in the spring to prepare it for a tractor/car show I go to every year.
I'll be looking forward to learning and discussing Firebird's with you guys during this exciting new journey.

Half the fun is the buying process isen't it? I bought my 89 on ebay. It was only 15 miles from me and I got it for $900. I enjoy tinkering around with it. Hope to see some pics of your car soon.

I bought my first about 5 months ago maybe and I am Totally RUINED LOL. I did buy the 91 Firebird Formula 5L V8 305 Medium Maui Blue. I am a country/farm girl and never had anything this fun to drive. I am in hog heaven lol... Again Wecome to the club
