Heya, I was wondeirng if anyone knows anything about buying lockable fuel caps,I know there are some out there but wondering if anyone knows if there are any good ones in particular from experiance and if they did a custom/ store bought install. I dont mind custom, but ....well I wreck things...easily lol. (plus dont want to do a lot to the engine if some idiot decides to mess with the fuel)

Don't know of any particularly good choices, just make sure whatever you get fits under the filler cap door and you should be OK. Thing is getting gas out of newer cars isn't as easy as it used to be so most thieves would chose any easy target in lesser/older cars anyway...

Thing is I am not worrying about people stealing my fuel but...more or less if I am going to do engine work then I dont want anyone putting anything stupid into the gas tank(weather a prank or whatever) because that would be one expesive overlook lol

Got locking gas caps on all my vehicles. Get them at Murray's or any auto parts store. Never had any problems with them, and they give ya peace of mind knowing that it's harder for someone to drain or ''spike'' your fuel!

Eh, push down hard enough and you can still open it without a key. I forgot my key once and still got it open wihtout much effort.

Heck around here a locking gas cap wouldn't stop a gas thief. Here they totally bypass the cap and just drill a hole in the lowest part of the fuel tank and drain it that way.
