I love how just cuz people have a V-8, they think they are automatically REAL fast.
I burned a V8 Jeep Cherokee with an Exhaust system on it....He thought it would be fun to drag me at a light. I babied it into second (tires gonna need replacing soon) then absolutely destroyed him as I shifted. I didnt even bother to manually shift, being as my car is automatic. I let off at 55 and tried to slow down to give him a thumbs up for trying, but he didnt seem to want to get past my rear quarter....Then my girlfriend got on my about the cost of gas as we passed a BP with 4.20 something for premium....i still think it was worth it, gotta let these people know who own the streets
Tyler
Hammering on it up to 55 did not burn much gas! Tell her it was worth the cost to maintain your dignity!

It's very true, I get alot of Titans and F-model trucks trying to run on me. I guess some people don't understand the weight factor? To name just one thing--
MasterTomos
Yea, people dont understand that we have just as much, if not more horsepower and torque than trucks and are much much lighter...not to mention posi traction...

Good Kill! Way to show ''em what a PONTIAC can do!!!
Tyler
I've seen some diesels with stacked tuners run in the 11's so you gotta watch out for those things! Who woulda ever thunk it!
MasterTomos
yea, id hope when u spend that kind of cash i hope you'd run at least 11's! those things are expensive and even more expensive to modify!

So it is a $50,000 vehicle that weighs 7,000 to 8,000 pounds and had 300 to 375 horsepower and 550 to 650 lb/ft of torque stock. It only costs about $5,000 to get it at 1,000 RWHP and almost 2000 lb/ft of torque on a stock internal motor and a slightly modified tune. It better be fast and still get decent mileage. LOL
