I installed an Airtex electric pump #E8012S near the gas tank as the mfg. recommended. The pump runs but will not pump gas from the gas tank. My Formula has a 2 line system and I tried both. Still no gas. Tested the pump with a hose in a can of gas. Pumped lots of gas with the pump above or below the can. The reason for the electric pump is to over come vapor lock due to the high temp in AZ. Any suggestions?

Make sure the polarity is correct on the wires since the pump may run either way. I cant see why it's not working either.
