Hi everyone!

I just got an 89 Formula 350 Firebird as a new project to work on over the winter. I am really excited!!

It needs some work though. It needs a new front driver's side fender, a new rear spoiler, a headliner, and it came with a faded GTA hood instead of a Formula one, so I want one of them too. It's also missing a WS6 center cap.

But I'm hoping that by next summer it'll look great!! It's definitely getting a new paint job once all the new body parts are in place. And tires.

here are some links to pics. Don't worry, the ridiculously ugly spoiler is gone!! lol. I'm also giving it a good cleaning inside and out. Thanks for looking!!

Cool! Another Firebird getting back on it's feet is always good to hear. Shop ebay for lots of stuff to!

will do!! I just bought a new spare tire on Ebay last week, and I'm sure I'll be using it in the future. I'm really exciting to get this thing cleaned up and nice again!

Have you driven it yet? The 350's run pretty good and have alot of potential.

Welcome! looks like another bird rescued and in the hands of a capable owner. She oughta clean up nice. Good fun winter project.

I have only driven it up and down my driveway since it's not road-worthy (needs CAT + exhaust, egr valve, new tires) but even then it feels like it really wants to move. I'm really excited.

It'll definitely look better with a nice scrub-down for sure. I plan on getting it repainted next summer. Maybe to the same color, although I've seen pictures of a light-ish blue Formula 350 that looks really good. I'll have to decide eventually...

that whale tail looked hilarious i have to admit. Just imagine that formula 350 badge sticking out after a fresh paint job, the red gleaming in the sun. I know I can, good find and have fun fixin it up man

whoever put that spoiler on the car shame on them? Good thing it's off now right? well take it nice and easy on getting that car up to condition. you'll enjoy it.

Nothing beats a new project. Make sure you bury that park bench where it belongs, or give it to a Honda, they will love you for it.

haha, OH MAN am I happy that the spoiler is off. I don't even have a replacement yet, so there are 8 holes in the metal part of the hatch at the moment, but it still looks a hundred times better than that thing!! lol

I wonder what kinds of nifty things I could use that spoiler for..... Maybe a new set of running boards for the Xterra.... lol

I'm really excited about this project. I cannot wait until it is on the road and looking good.

Thanks everyone!!

I already got the spoiler off thank God, and I already got my hands on a new driver's side fender, a Formula hood, and a spoiler, from a salvage yard in Long Island. Now I just need to wait until my cousin delivers them to me lol

So things are coming together slowly, but by the spring it should be road worthy and everything. Just need a new egr valve, need to reinstall the CAT and fix the Y-pipe, and I need new tires BAD. (I don't know if you can see the back tires in the pics, but it's completely bald, as in you can't even tell what the tread looked like lol) I also plan on getting it completely painted and stuff this summer.

I'm very excited!
