I'm having a tough time finding anything other than exhaust for my 89 305 with a TBI setup. Anyone have any suggestions where to look or what types I can look into?

Where have you tried looking? I know that Jegs used to carry alot of parts for the 305s so you might want to check to see if that's still the case.

Your car is an 89? 87 and up use a roller cam and you can pick up a used LT1 cam on ebay CHEAP. That would upgrade the cam. 1.6 rockerarms will boost it even more but they have to be the self aligning type. Headers and a good flowing muffler will help the exhaust. Beef up and automatic with a shift kit and a stall will lower e.t.'s to. Holley did make a bigger TB to so that might help. Synthetic oil in the motor, trans,& rear end is a dyno proven 10 hp. 3.73 gears will boost accelleration but wont do your MPG much good. 14 second e.t.'s are not out of the question.

Awesome, thanks. What about the carburator, will upgrading that do any good for it also? My buddy told me a Webber Carb would be a good upgrade for it, but he usually works on imports so I figured I'd ask the real pros biggrin.gif
Tyler
I would keep it fuel injected.

Would any LT1 cam work? I.E. could I pick up a performance LT1 cam?
