Hi ya'll another question from the rookie lol.
My 91 firebird has new brakes and new rotors and new tye rod ends and new calipers and when i am crusing on the highway and have to apply some brake my car is jerking to the right side, I dont have any issues with alignment that i can really tell, car drives nice and straight, and does not sway at all, this only happens when I have to really get on the brake. Please help smile.gif Thank You!!
Tyler
My old Dodge van did this. I put new rotors.calipers,& pads. Bled it over & over. Turned out it was one of the rubber hoses that bolts to the caliper under the wheel well. Just replace them both.

Well, you dont know yet if thats it. What mine was doing was the hose was breaking apart inside and blocking itself. It was actually holding pressure on the brake on that one side and it discolored the new rotor just a wee bit. Once I replaced the hoses the brakes felt great & the pull was gone.

Make sure to let me know if that does it.

Ok Tyler I will let my brother know this, atleast it is a start. I live in a very small town, I took the car in for an alignment they told me this wasnt a alignment issue, took it in for an oil change and the mechanic told me all he knew was that the calipers were doing what they were supposed to, I was devestated that I didnt get better answers . Atleast this is a start.I'll be sure and let you know. Thanks a bunch.

Hey Tyler!!! Guess What!!!

Got the brake lines replaced today, That fixed my brakeing and pulling to one side problem!!! I am so happy. No more prepairing to correct the steering whenever I apply the brakes real hard, car stops straight as an arrow now and feels much more safe now.

Thank You Ya Car God LOL .

Next I'll be replaceing the AC Compressor and my Baby will be good as new. Thanks so much!!

If it had not happened to me I doubt I would have ever guessed the rubber lines. Glad you got it fixed.
