Ok, I was driving home from school a few days ago when I noticed my speedometer wasn't working. I stopped at a gas station and killed the car then restarted just to see if that might fix it, which it didn't. I watched it carefully as I sped up (hoping not to pass a cop, haha). It immediately jumped from 0 when I hit 60 and has worked fine ever since. Something I should worry about? Maybe old wires or fuses? Keep in mind this car is 14 years old and about 12-13 of those it wasn't in my possesion. mellow.gif

And on a not-really-related note:
My cruise control has always been screwy. It's very annoying because I drive 80 miles on the highway every Monday. Sometimes if I hit it just right it will work. Most of the time, however, if I try to use it and let off the gas to see if it worked I immediately start slowing down.
I admittedly know just about nothing about electrical systems in cars so if I'm missing simple stuff let me know. I just fixed the infamous ground up gear in my headlight motor so this is annoying.
