So i decided it was a good day to take a few pics of the T/A since it's been a while where i actually went out and performed a little "photoshoot". Anyways, i drove all around town, scouting out some spots that i thought my car would look nice in, and snapped away. Enough talk, here are the pics:

If you want to check out all the shots i took, you can go look at my photobucket page:

Dang buddy your car is sexy. I want an LS now. sad.gif

I will be doing the same when I get my back. Countdown is a little less than 3 weeks. The one where the electricity station is awesome. Car looking really nice. Never noticed what your plates read before. how much extra $ is it for where you live?
Freshbake
Thanks for the compliments guys! For the plates, i think i pay something like 15 bucks extra per year for the personalization here in Virginia. I kept the design of the plate to the standard Virginia style, so no fancy picture on the plate...i just wanted the lettering.

Oh and btw, the next thing on my "to do" list is probably going to be the black CETA mod. I think that should pull together the red/black theme i'm going for pretty well
xXGhosTBirDXx
that's not that much, I'd pay it only that I meant to emphasize the actual combination of letters you were able to register to your name.
Is that the lower portion of the rear bumper? At first I thought that was done since the exhaust is so close and might damage the surrounding area, but it's not just for that and also adds appearance effects. I'm picturing mine with that (CETA) black as well, maybe the sideskirts, with a Lebra cover, a black sticker along the hatchback window arch, sideview mirrors, and everything else sunset orange metallic with the darkest legal black tint along with a huge front black firebird logo laid out on the hood.
Freshbake
Yep it's the lower portion of the bumper of T/A's. It's not really painted for any type of protection purpose, it's just what they did on the last T/A's in 2002 (the collectors editions) and everybody loved it so it became one of the biggest "must do" mods on Trans Ams. Here's a pic of what mine will look like (with the exemption of the black TTM wheels)

I personally think it looks hot!

But that list of appearance mods you have got sounds like an awesome list! What exactly is a Lebra cover tho? The darkest legal tint looks awesome as well. The lowest you can go is 5%...that's what i had on my car when i first got it and it was awesome. But then i got pulled over too many times and so i took the door window tint off and replaced that with 35% and left the back hatch at 5%...looks pretty good so far. But if you want pics of what 5% looks like, let me know i've got a few. What is the color of your car??
xXGhosTBirDXx
Oh okay now I know about the CETA mod and I agree it looks striking. That picture you posted up is phenomenal, just absolutely incredible. Amazing how good a car can look seriously. I'm really glad I waited to purchase and F-body or else I'd be on the Ricer Forums if there are any.

The Lebra Cover is exactly that, a bra but leather material for the front end of your car. it protects against weather and the paint chipping you get driving on the highway. I think with it the car looks meaner. The stock color on my TA was red like yours, but it's going to be that sweet sunset orange metallic real soon. I still need to get a tone sample on glossy paper. There are a few hot oranges out there with modified names like, "atomic orange metallic, "bronze orange", "sunset orange pearl", or even "burnt orange". I need to make sure I get the right color, to do it right the first time. You recall the previous thread entitled "Trans Am Resurrection" under the Modifications Forum. I've uploaded some recent pics and have others still pending to be uploaded. That crash man, it's a bummer. First car and first crash, but that ain't happening to me again buddy, Hell no!! My eyes are wide open. Never again will I underestimate the potential in the F-body. Well anyway there you'll see the Lebra cover on the very first picture when I picked up the car at the Wrecker Yard several hours after I wrapped myself around a pole. The newer Lebra Cover for 98 and up models cover up even your headlights.

Definetly send me the pics or post them at least. forsaken731@yahoo.com I'm guessing the limit is the same throughout the nation, I need to check Texas laws to be sure. However at first I was thinking the reflective mirror type but given the color I think I'm going for firm solid dark black on doors and hatch. maybe the front a few inches down from the top of the window. I can't wait til I get it back. i also want to upgrade to the honeycomb lights and a new filler panel.

Oh yes i do remember that thread...that really pained me to look at those pictures. I can't wait to see that thing all built up and put back together! And definitely an excellent choice on the color paint you want, nothing beats the sunset orange (well...besides the paints that are similar to it haha) Sounds like the list of things you want to do are on the right track. But yeah man i can definitely get you those pictures. I would send them right now, except i'm on a computer in the computer lab of my campus haha, so obviously i don't have em. I'll get them to you as soon as I get home.

I might get a cover just to cover up the ugliness of my clear coat coming off....and its too bad mine i already black because that is baddace! I dont even know if you can do it on 97s?

Freshbake that car is fresh...striaght up
Freshbake
Haha yeah a cover would sure help with the clearcoat coming off. It will even protect it from coming off even more. But yeah, you can do the CETA mod with 97's, and you definitely can do it with a black one. The best thing is, you can paint it a variety of black paints. There is Flat Black, Semi-Gloss, and Glossy. For a black car, you want to do that flat black. Check it out

Da97Bandit
that does look pretty sick
