I know my horn under the hood is working because I used a wire from direct horn contact to my positive battery termianl. The problem is that the ctr of my button/steering wheel cap of my formula steering wheel does not make the horn operate. All my fuses look good - how can I find my problem.

The horn has 12v all the time and the button simply completes the ground circuit. The center button will pull off by hand. Once thats off you can look to see what not making the contact. Sometimes if the ignition switch was replaced pieces get left out but hopefully your is all still there.

Hi Tyler,
Thanks for the reply on the horn, there is a chance that the ignition might of been replaced. I have 2 keys that appear to be igition keys but just one fits and starts the car. If I take the center cap off there is a bar stool looking part (the Ames Performane calls it a Formula Wheel Switch Adapter, at the bottom is the metal round plates called the Horn Switch) and on the bottom of it is 2 round metal plates that press together. When I took the old steering wheel off there was a piece of plastic that I can only describe like if you were looking down in to a straw - down in the end of that there was a metal contact. This also served as a turn signal canceler - I hope it turns out to be a short in a wire.
