I will be diagnosing my steering pump. Don't want to replace it yet. First I'll swap the lines and see if it still leaks. However my question lies in the pressure hose.
Recall that the rubber has a sealed wrap with metal on both ends. I suppose that's where it leaks. That little hose alone is $16 bucks new and the return hose another $33. Could I just get my stock one and replace it by just buying the rubber hose by the yard or something. then using hose fastener clamp rings to tighten it? I'll be checking it out tomorrow when I go across the border.
