has anybody seen these or know why they stopped making them after 1 year? I dont mind them actually...

just wondering if there was more useless knowledge I didnt know about...

I have seen these on a few cars, and I have always wondered about them. I never knew that they were only offered in 2000 for 1 year, that is new news to me. They probably stopped after that year because many people did not order the cars with those rims...they aren't bad looking, but they dont have the aggressive look that the 5 spokes have. That's my only guess as to why they may have stopped after 1 year.

The twisted Wheels were the standard WS6 wheel in `00 the Five spokes were optional.
After most people and dealerships started ordering the car with the optional wheels the regular ones were discontinued. I personally don't like them much but it's nice to see cars with them because of the rarity.

a friend has an 01 and liked them so he sought out a set. for kicks and giggles we slapped on my adapters one night and mounted them on my 89. im diggin em.

I think the 17x9's really set off those 3rd gen Formula's.

thanx much, i was suprised myself. thought it woulda looked "ok" but turned out pretty well. now i gotta find myseldf a set.
